Celebrate God! Celebrate His Word! Celebrate His life in you! Celebrate always. Paul in the Bible put it this way, “Rejoice in the Lord alway, again I say rejoice!” (Phillipians4:4)
I’ll put mine…
celebrate your birthdays too .
Celebrate the good things in your life.
Celebrate your parents.
Celebrate your kids.
Celebrate the promotions, miracles and beautiful events in your life.
Celebrate the great people in your life.
Celebrate the memorable moments and good times in your life.
Celebrate God’s Word, graces, and His love to you!
Make a choice to acknowledge God’s goodness in your life often!
Let it be known that rejoicing and celebration is always with you and in your house.
Pause on the “on my own” life sometimes. Involve others to celebrate with you. You’ll realise you’re genuinely happier as a result.
Make good friends who are honest, sincere and encouraging. Get friends who celebrate God too.
When your friends are celebrating cool, celebrate with them too. Be a part of their joys and memorable times.
Surround yourself with happy people, who love the Lord and are constantly improving themselves.
Get you friends who aren’t caught up in the deceptions of the world but are always in the going for positive social innovations and endeavours. And sometimes for no seeming apparent reason, declare a feast! Tell ’em “today I received new revelation from God and I wanna celebrate it, see you at my place by 7″… or “wow, we are living the the divine dream” …or anything else!
Sometimes, you notice one of your friend’s been having a challenging situation with his/her health or job etc, call your mutual friends and pay him/her a visit with food and gifts! Help him/her know they’re not forsaken. Other times, a friend might be so inspiring to you for some feat or achievement they’ve made, have a dinner at your place or a restaurant with mutual friends in his/her honour. Life can be so cool if you make it!
When budgeting for the month, separate “celebration money”, (it doesn’t have to be a bloated amount, just something to celebrate God’s goodness) and if it ‘seemed’ like there was no reason by the last day of the month to celebrate (though there are always reasons), talk to someone about Jesus and celebrate it. Or take yourself (or with your significant other) out to a nice spot and have great food or go car racing or something. Be creative about celebrations. And you can also take the money and give it in God’s house as a special offering.
As you go on in life, these are the moments you’ll remember as memorable and enjoyable and they will inspire you for life. You’re gonna love it!
Today, you can even celebrate the fact that you read this article and as a result celebration has been introduced as a culture and habit into your life!
Celebrate, and do it lavishly! Life is to be enjoyed!
Celebrate in the Lord alway, again I say, celebrate
